Description - This a hike along the Rampart Ridge Trail and the Wonderland Trail at Mount Rainier. The hike was 5.1 miles and took us about 2 hours and 30 minutes. This was a great hike through the lush forest. There were a couple of views that opened up of Mount Rainier along the top of the ridge. The mile is just continuous uphill along switch backs up the side of the ridge. The total elevation gain is 1339 feet almost completely in the first mile and a half.
